March, Music and Merriment!

March, Music and Merriment recital at St. John'sMarch 8 at 5 p.m.: a musical treat awaits you. The lead singers of the Choir of St. John’s will perform pieces from madrigals to modern songs.

It seems the cold winter has been going on forever, and you really want a break. What better way to warm up and anticipate spring, than by taking in the musical offerings of the St. John’s choir leads. The performance spans 500 years of music, from the madrigals of the Renaissance era to the contemporary songs of today.

If that’s not enough, following the performance there will be a wine and cheese reception. Enjoy a drink, a few nibbles, and some good conversation. It’s an opportunity to meet some of the people who make the music at St. John’s.

Admission is free, but we will be taking a free-will offering to support the music program at St. John’s. So make a date now to get ready for spring with some great music performed by the wonderful voices of the St. John’s choir leads!
