In your life, do you measure up? Or do you fall short? The reality is that you may need to change the way you measure self worth. Tara Birch explains how.
In our last video of the Summer Soul Series, Tara Barch gives a heartfelt talk about the ‘trance of unworthiness’ and how mindfulness can help us wake up into a more connected and loving sense of self.
Both the Great Commandment and the New Commandment are centred on love. We’re to love God with all our being and we’re to love each other. We can’t do either unless we love ourselves. Too often we easily accept negative thoughts and feelings towards our self. It is as though we live in a trance, unaware of how much negativity we hold.
Tara teaches about the essence of the spiritual path and how waking up to our true nature can alleviate our suffering, help us move through fear, bring us home to who we truly are and equip us to love others.
Looking forward to sharing her teaching on self-compassion with you.
