A journey to faith through discovery
The Men’s Supper Club is resuming, after taking a break for the summer. You’re invited to an evening that will feature fellowship, a hearty meal, and some thoughtful discussion around a topic of real relevance.
We’ll be taking a look at the journey of faith of one man, Nabeel Qureshi, who was raised in the Muslim faith, who as a young adult felt a passion to deepen his faith, and who ended up feeling compelled, against his will, to the faith that is centred on Christ. In the book Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, Qureshi tells of the conflicts he had to deal with along the way, both with his family and with his own heart.
To obtain a copy of the book, you can contact the church office which will have some available, or you can seek out a copy on your own. The copies at the church office will cost $20; to obtain please call 416-225-6611 or write to firstname.lastname@example.org. We suggest (but it is not required!) that you read some or all of Nabeel Qureshi’s book beforehand.
Gentlemen, join us on Tuesday, September 13, for an evening of fellowship, food, and discussion around this topic.
