God and the Girls is a slightly unconventional book club. We are currently reading and talking about Pastrix: the Cranky Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint by Nadia Bolz-Weber. This is a rather unusual memoir, or more accurately, the memoir of a person with a very unusual faith.
This book tells how one woman followed a calling – the calling for a deeply flawed person to a deeply faithful life – and shows us a most vivid example of God’s grace flourishing in a place that we least expect.
God and the Girls will be meeting on Friday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m, at their meeting place on Rean Drive. Please RSVP to Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend, or if you need to obtain a copy of the book.
