Apr 28: The CAP Money Course

Is money causing you stress? Do you feel bewildered? The CAP money course can help give you the tools and the financial literacy to get those feelings under control.

The CAP Money Course has been designed by Christians Against Poverty to equip churches to tackle poverty in their local communities. The Money Course starts with solid training in money management and combines that with the work of local congregations to make a difference in people’s lives.

Financial illiteracy is a major cause of debt and poverty. The CAP Money Course empowers congregations around the world to help over 10,000 people a year to take control of their money and the worry that it causes.

St. John’s York Mills is pleased to offer the CAP Money Course. The course runs on Saturday mornings for three weeks, from April 28 to May 12, 9 a.m. to noon. During the course you will learn how to make and stick to a budget, and how to spend and save well. The course coordinator at St. John’s is Tony Martino, and the course coaches are Dayo Olusegun and James McNeish.

For more information, please contact Tony Martino or the church office, or simply attend the introductory session on Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 a.m.
