June 23: Pilgrimage to Now/here

Contemplative Fire invites you on a walk to and through Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. We depart at 10:00 a.m. from Yorkminster Park Baptist Church for a two-hour journey of discovery and reflection in the verdant, peaceful landscape of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery situated in the heart of Toronto.

Our pilgrimage will be led by Rev. Mary Pataki and Andrew White, an arborist extrodinaire. Mt. Pleasant has one of the largest collections of native and foreign trees in Canada.

Meet at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, a five-minute walk north on Yonge St. from St. Clair subway station, at 10:00 a.m. Bring a lunch, drinking water … and a friend!
