Oct 11: Lychgate Group Meeting

This month, the Lychgate Women’s Group invites all members of the parish to join us as we welcome Carolyn Kim of the Talking Book Library.

Talking Book LibraryThe Talking Book Library is a charitable organization that produces audio books for people who cannot read standard print books. What makes TBL unique in Canada is that it specializes in material with Christian themes, and in making these audio books available through the CNIB’s Centre for Equitable Library Access.

Carolyn Kim is the Executive Director for the Talking Book Library. With a background that includes five years overseeing and pastoring a successful children’s ministry, Carolyn has used her diverse talents in diverse settings working for, and with, families, children, and youth.

Come and hear Carolyn on Thursday, October 11, as she talks about the Talking Book Library: its mission, how it works, and what it has accomplished. The meeting is open to all parishioners – gentlemen, this includes you. If you do plan to come, it is appreciated if you RSVP to Sharon Barney or the church office.
