Gentlemen, you’re invited to an evening of fellowship, a hearty meal, and some serious discussion around Philip Yancey’s book What’s So Amazing About Grace?
Grace: We Christians talk a lot about grace, but what does it really mean for us in our day-to-day lives? God’s grace – love given without condition to saint and sinner alike – can both comfort and challenge us. Grace feels comfortable as we sit in the pews on Sunday, but what does grace feel like out in a world that knows hate-filled hearts and horrific deeds? Yancey’s book tries to answer the questions of grace and how it calls to us in our own lives.
On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, the Men’s Supper Club will look at chapters 2 and 3. It is recommended (but not required!) that you read the book ahead of time.
If you want to attend, it is appreciated if you can RSVP to Wayne Minett or the church office, so that can plan the dinner.
