Mar 1: World Day of Prayer

On Friday March 1, join with Christians in 170 countries for a time of prayer and learning. We will gather at the Church of the Incarnation at 1:30 p.m.

The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women to learn from people of other countries and cultures, and to pray for action toward peace and justice.

This year, the Church of the Incarnation has been selected to host a World Day of Prayer service in our area. Join people from many congregations for an afternoon of music and words, of fellowship and prayer.

The theme for 2019 is:

Come – Everything is Ready

Jesus told a parable about a great feast where people were invited from the streets. The people around the table were not enough to fill the hall, so more were invited. Who are missing from the table in our community? How do we reach out to invite them?
