March 11 – Living from the Centre

Living from the Centre is an exploration of contemporary prayer practices. The final session will be on Tuesday, March 11. Arrive at 6 p.m. and share in a dinner in the Shepard Room (RSVP) or come just for the session at 7 p.m. in the Children’s Chapel. There is a charge of $5 for the dinner and $15 for the session.

Contemplative prayer practices help move you out of a fast-paced, high-stress world and into a slower, calmer place where you can focus on your spiritual life. At each session you learn a prayer technique and have time to practice it. At past sessions we have explored how to pray using our breath, our imaginations, and our ability to reflect on life. If you haven’t attended past sessions, this your invitation to sample the contemplative approach to spiritual living.
