Wednesdays 7:30am: Holy Eucharist

During Lent, until April 16, Holy Eucharist services take place every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.

Lent is a season of penitence in preparation for Easter. For the forty days (not counting Sundays) from Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday, we are encouraged to take time away from the toils and indulgences of our day-to-day lives, and to put time toward our own spiritual health. It is a time for Reflection, Repentance and Renewal: a time to reflect on our lives, to change the direction we are going, and be renewed in our spiritual journey.

This year, our journey through Lent includes early-morning Holy Communion and the ‘Engage’ guide to spiritual growth. Gathering early each Wednesday helps us step out of our busy lives and into a spiritual place; Engage gives us a number of practices that help us to reflect, to repent and to renew. During Lenten services, the sermons will focus on: Growing spiritually through spiritual practices that lead to new life.
